(D) Arrowe Park (Red Rooms Café) to Net's Café CANCELLED

10:30 Wednesday January 18 2023

Current Participants: 4 space(s) available

RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO RISK OF ICE AND SNOW

This ride is 23 miles in total (15 miles to lunch at Net’s) mostly on roads and with a few gentle inclines.

The ride leader is Robert Holmes and the ride start time is 10.30am

Starting from the Red Rooms Café, Arrowe Park, we will take an unusual route through the Woodchurch Estate, down to the River Fender and then climb (by the easiest route) up to Prenton and Storeton Road. A short section of Storeton Road will take us to the top of Lever Causeway where we will turn onto the path that runs alongside it. After continuing to the junction of Little Storeton Lane and Landican Lane, we will stop for a banana break.

From there we will cycle along familiar roads through Storeton, Brimstage, Thornton Hough, Raby and Little Neston, to reach Net’s Café which is our lunch stop.

The return to Arrowe Park (for those who are returning there) is a more direct 8 miles via Leighton Road, Boathouse Lane and Barnston.
