This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    • Grade C ride, 26 miles to lunch at Ellesmere Port boat Museum, 44 miles total for those wishing to return to West Kirby. Almost all on good surfaces.
    • Leader: Paul Malloy
    • Start Location: Inside West Kirby Merseyrail Station.
    • Start Time: 10.00, please  arrive by about 09.45.
    • Route: From West Kirby to Hoylake via “cinder path” then onto Hoylake – Meols prom then past Leasowe Castle to New Brighton prom then along Wallasey prom to Seacombe Ferry and we will follow the Mersey past Rock Ferry, New Ferry, through Eastham Woods and North Road to the Boat Museum.  For those wishing to return to West Kirby the route is via Little Sutton, Hooton, Raby, Thornton Hough, Heswall, Irby and Caldy. For those wishing to return by train there are Merseyrail Stations at Ellesmere Port, Little Sutton, Hooton and Heswall.
