This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    This is a grade D ride of 22 miles, lead by Jill McNamee. From Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre we head down to the River Mersey, cutting inland at New Brighton and through quiet roads in Wallasey to pick up the Fender cycle way. From Meols and Hoylake we’ll head through West Kirby and down to Frankby Road and Baked Cafe. The lead ride finishes here, but I will be heading through Greasby, Moreton and back to New Brighton. I can take you or direct you to Meols, Leasowe or Moreton station. Let me know if you need help getting back. Birkenhead Park cafe is open from 9am for tea/coffee/breakfast if you wish.  Komoot route below.
