This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    This is a grade C ride albeit a little longer than most at around 62 miles. Starting and finishing at Thornton Hough it will be led by Andy Mace. Note the EARLY START TIME of 8.45 am. Lunch is planned around noon at the Hideaway cafe Farndon.

    The route to Farndon takes us via Burton Marshes, Higher Ferry, Pulford & Holt & is about 26 miles.

    Following lunch the route is longer at about 36 miles & takes through Coddington, Tattenhall, Hoofield, Tarvin, Barrowmore, Ellesmere Port to Thornton Hough.  We pass Ellesmere Port & Hooton stations if you wish to leave here.
