This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

(C) Nets to Holt loop

    This is C ride of approximately 44 miles led by Dave Branch. The route is relatively flat and on good surfaces.

    The ride will start from Nets Cafe at 10 am. Please be there for 9.45 for a prompt start. The original plan was to visit Satriales (formerly Cleos) in Holt but it is currently shut after a serious fire the day after my reccy! So the plan now is to visit the nearby Hideaway cafe, just outside Farndon. This is about 22 miles into the ride and shuts at 1 pm on Sunday, hence need for a prompt getaway.

    The route will take us from Nets across the Marsh and along the river to Saltney Ferry. Once over the river we will ride to Farndon via Bretton, Dodleston, Pulford and Holt.

    After lunch we’ll return via Alford, Saighton, Waverton to Guilden Sutton where we’ll pick up the Greenway to return to Deeside and Nets
