This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

      24 miles, a steady pace, few inclines, grade D

      Meeting in the car park of the Merebrook Hotel, next to Bromborough Railway station, and leaving at 10.00 am

      The ride leader will be Una Keane and she will be at the start by 09:45.

      The route will be out via Thornton Hough and Neston with a brief stop at Hadlow station, where toilets are available, then on via the missing link to Premier Plants and the new Sprout Kitchen cafe; it’s a bit expensive, but really nice food: cakes, coffee, soup, etc. and other ‘posh’ food (really good scones !!).

      It is approximately 15 miles to the cafe stop and then back via Capenhurst and Hooton stations (if anyone wants to tail off) and back to the Merebrook.
