If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



Hooton to Hwb Rossett C/D

    Starting Hooton Station,  Please arrive 9.45 to allow for registration and brief of ride.  Ride to Rossett 44 miles return,  22 miles to lunch at Hwb which is very reasonably priced.    We will stop for a banana stop when we cross Greenway at Blacon.  Mainly through country lanes, not a hilly ride. We will travel out via Capenhurst, Saughall and Blacon to Saltney Bridge and up towards Kinnerton Green,  Honkley and Burton Green into Rossett.  Returning through Pulford, Lavister and Lache Lane to Saltney and back over river along Dee towards Deeside Industrial Estate and up through Burton and Badgers Rake to Hooton.

    David Brewer will be Ride Leader in place of Sue Hughes , who has planned this route.

On the day we suggest that you should bring: A Helmet wet weather wear and warm clothing a spare inner tube, a pump and tyre levers some food and drink to keep you going money for emergencies (and lunch) a mobile phone.
