Meeting at Thornton Hough at 9.45 for a 10.00 start. Ride leader David Williams
Our route takes us from Thornton Hough to Raby, Ledsham, Dunkirk Road, Little Stanney to Mickle Trafford, Guilden Sutton taking care crossing the A51 through Waverton and onto Long Lane through Hargrave towards Tattenhall, Lunch at Alison’s Country Kitchen0 Approximately 25 miles.
After lunch, leaving Tattenhall we will travel through Gatesheath across the A41. This is a very busy main road so take great care when crossing down Platt Lane towards Saignton and Huntington around the outskirts of Chester to eventually join the Greenway back to Neston and finally Thornton Hough.
Approximately 25 miles
There are no high elevated areas on this ride with the exception of a gentle rise around Chester which provides excellent views of the river Dee.
