(C) Port Sunlight to Vale Park New Brighton

10:30 Wednesday July 13 2022

Current Participants: 6 space(s) available

Hi, my name is Barry and I will be leading this epic ride from Port Sunlight to New Brighton which is approximately 25 miles. The route will take us from the Station to Raby Mere, Thornton Hough, Brimstage and on to Storeton. Then taking Station Road up and across to Pensby via Fishers Lane and onto the A540 through to Thurstaton. We’ll then use the Wirral Way to get us to West Kirby on to Hoylake and the coastal route to New Brighton. There are a couple of rises on the route, but there always are on the Wirral.

The Cafe in the park is good for the normal snacks, but also there is good space for those wanting to take their own.  Getting home from here is easy for some but I would think that it will be a 40 mile ride for most.  I will lead us back to back to Birkenhead after lunch, but other routes can be decided on the day.

Hope to see you there and can you bring some sunshine with you.
