(D) Thornton Hough to Brimstage via Parkgate

10:00 Sunday February 18 2024

Current Participants: 6 space(s) available

This is a repeat of the ride originally scheduled for 7th Jan but cancelled due to icy conditions.

This is a gentle D paced 22 mile ride starting from Thornton Hough village hall and finishing at Brimstage Courtyard for lunch. We will travel via Raby, Willaston, Burton shore, up Denhall Lane to Neston and take a break at Parkgate. From Parkgate we will climb up through Gayton and Heswall and then follow the cycleway to Cottage Loaf roundabout before cutting back through Irby and Pensby to Brimstage.

Provisional route is on Komoot  – https://www.komoot.com/tour/1385679703

Riders will make their own way home from Brimstage

So distance and pace will be comfortable, but some well known climbs to keep  us honest.

The ride will be led by Dave Branch, who will be at Thornton Hough at 9.45 for 10 am start. Any questions I can be contacted on 07754 776566 or dgbranch@hotmail.co.uk

Bookings no longer allowed on this date.
