This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

(C) Arrowe Park to First Aid Course at Thornton Hough Village Hall

    This is a grade C, 22 mile ride ride from Red Rooms at Arrowe Park scheduled to reach Thornton Hough Village Hall by 12:30 in time for the participants to have lunch before the First Aid course scheduled to start at 13:30.

    The ride leader will be Peter Williams and they will be at the start by 09:45.

    The route goes North through Arrowe Park, then alongside the Arrowe Brook, past Greasby to Saughall Massie, up Carr Lane via the level crossing to the foreshore at Meols.  Then all the way around the North and West coasts of the Wirral to Woodside Ferry, up through Tranmere and Woodhey to Higher Bebington, then down to Brimstage and on to finish at Thornton Hough.  Here is the route on Komoot: Arrowe Park to Thornton Hough

    If you want to attend the First Aid course as well as this ride, book onto the ride below as usual and then, in addition, book onto the First Aid course itself on the webpage: First Aid Course at Thornton Hough Village Hall

    If you don’t want to attend the First Aid course, then you can just book onto the ride, and you can choose to join us for lunch at Thornton Village Hall or not.

    People will make their own way home from Thornton Hough after the ride.
