This will be a grade D ride of about 20 miles travelling at 9 to 10 mph in a clockwise direction around our Wirral peninsular. No significant climbs.
David Brewer will be ride leader starting at the later time of 10:30 from Port Sunlight Station. Pease be there at 10:15 for a safety briefing
The main route will be down the railway path to Eastham, then onto Childer Thornton, Ledsham , Puddington, Burton, Banana break at Burton Marsh, Neston and on to Thornton Hough Garmin Connect (strait not correct- will update later)
Lunch is now planned for at Nets for about 1230. We will then complete the ride to Thornton Hough.
At Thornton Hough Dave Branch has arranged for physiotherapist Karen, from Wirral Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy to put on a one hour workout for us all covering all our aching joints , muscles, our positioning on bikes etc. This will be at the Parish Centre – just past the 7 Stars pub. The club will donate £50 to Friends of Clatterbridge for this session but private donations will also be welcomed. I am sure we will all find this workout to be useful and to be of good future benefit.
The route ends at Thornton Hough , but I will be happy to escort anyone back to Port Sunlight if it is needed
