This is ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group, but is also suitable for people who have not previously ridden with a cycling group.  If you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities.  
Before the ride, check out the page on our website about taking part in one of our rides "Taking Part", and read the Advice from Cycling UK on riding in a group.  If you are new to riding with a group, please arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time, so that the ride leader can brief you on how to ride safely with a group of other riders. 

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    D ride aprox 25 Miles return from Bromborough to Higher Bebington.
    After all the Christma festivities I am sure we will all be ready to get out and get some new years reselution exercise.
    Meet in the Mearbrook car park next to Bromborough train Station at 10am for a 10.15 so you can use your twirrley bus pass . As you may know my rides are not too far and not too hilly and not too fast. Lets say its more about the chat and the social and the cafe stop. We will al benifit from a bit of much needed exercise. Route will be Aprox 20 miles with a vanbana break at Parkgate to lunch and a further 5miles back to the start exact rout will be confirmed nearer the time but it wont be too hily except for a slow climb halfway up boathouse lane and will be heading to a new Cafe Beaus Kitchen at the top if Townf lane Higher Bebington . They have an outside seating area at the back to park the bikes safely and we can eat inside as the weather could be unpredictable and maybe it will be cold. They have a large menu of breakfast food sanwiches chips cakes ect and even serve wine and beer . The portions are huge so sharing a sandwich might be a good option.The ride will return escorted back to Bromborough Anyone wishing to leave the ride after lunch just let me know.
