24 miles, Grade C: Arrowe Park to Burton via New Brighton

This is a mixed urban / rural cycle, 24 miles long with some hills to negotiate.

Starting from the Red Rooms Café at Arrowe Park, the route goes down through the Woodchurch Estate to Upton Station and then joins the cycle path running through the Beechwood Estate to Bidston Village. From there it goes to Leasowe Road, cycling over the Bidston reclaimed land and on to Wallasey Village and over the ridge to Vale Park where it joins the main parade to the Seacombe Ferry terminal. It continues over the Tower Road bridge to Birkenhead Park.

From the park it heads towards Oxton, Prenton and Brimstage via Levers Causeway. The next village is Thornton Hough, then Raby and Willaston where the route turns into Hadlow Road and heads for journey’s end, which is the café at Burton Manor.
