46 miles, Grade B: Thornton Hough to Caergwrle via Queensferry

The ride starts at Thornton Hough Village Community Hall and goes out to Honey’s Cafe in Caergwrle and will be a Grade B ride. With a return route back to Thornton Hough for a total of 46 miles.

The route is available on Komoot Thornton Hough to Caergwrle

The outward route is via Willaston, the Missing Link, Capenhurst, and Sealand and then along the Dee to Saltney Ferry bridge

There are some long climbs from Bretton through Higher Kinnerton to Caergwrle and after lunch from Caergwrle through Pennyffordd to Drury

After lunch the route returns to Thornton Hough via Drury Shotton and Neston.

There is a train station in Caergwrle that will return you to the Wirral so I would advise you to bring money for both your lunch and the train should you choose to use them.
