The ride is 25 miles long, Grade D, and will start from outside the Café at Thornton Hough Village Hall on Manor Rd, Thornton Hough.
The ride goes from Thornton Hough via Neston, Burton, Ledsham and Capenhurst, then avoiding the Shropshire Union canal, to stop for lunch at the Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port after 16 miles. There are benches by the ship canal for those who have sandwiches, also the Port & Anchor café is open.
Return trip back to Thornton Hough is about 8 miles, going through Rivacre, passing Hooton Merseyrail station after 4 miles for those who wish to leave the ride there.
