33 miles, C ride pace 10 to 12 mph. Well surfaced roads and bike paths, with a short Wirral Way section in Neston. Predominantly flat.
The outward section is 20 miles with lunch at The Old Chapel Cafe in Saltney Ferry. Start from the Merebrook car park next to Bromborough railway station, heading towards Benty Heath Lane, Raby, Thornton Hough, Leighton Road, Neston, Little Neston, Ness, Burton Marshes, Deeside Industrial Estate, The Greenway, & a little bit of Blacon.
The return leg of 13 miles along the Dee bike path, before cutting up to Garden City, on to Woodbank Lane, crossing the A540 with care, to Capenhurst, Ledsham, The Missing Link, & finishing at Hooton railway station.
