Start location : Hooton Station
The route goes out through the missing link, Capenhurst, Chester gates, Saughall, the Greenway, Pipers Ash, Christleton to Barrowmore. Approx 19 miles to the lunch stop at Bluebell Cafe.
The return route is via Thornton le Moors, along the A5117 to Cheshire Oaks, then along to the Boat Museum where there is an option to head for Ellesmere Port Station. The total distance back to Hooton is approx 34 miles.
