This is a Grade C ride, 36 miles long with approximately 1,500 ft of elevation gain.
Starting from West Kirby Railway Station, the route goes along the two ridges that run down the Wirral Peninsula through Greasby, Woodchurch, Prenton, Raby, Willaston, and Burton to stop at Net’s Café for lunch. By the time the ride gets to Net’s it will have covered 24 miles with 1,000ft of total elevation gain.
To return to West Kirby, the route travels through Neston, Leighton Road, Heswall (Glegg Arms roundabout), Barnston, Pensby, Irby and Thurstaston, joining the Wirral Way at the bottom of Station Road for the final section to West Kirby.
