This is a 38 mile route grade B visiting four churches (St Peter’s, Plemstall; St Bartholomew’s, Great Barrow; St John the Evangelist, Alvanley ; and St. Mary’s Thornton-le-Moors) in North Cheshire. All four churches are Grade 1 or 2 listed and are interesting!
The ride starts from the Merebrook car park, next to Bromborough Station and is via Brookhurst Avenue; Childer Thornton; Little Sutton; Great Sutton A41; A5117; Stoak; Picton; Mickle Trafford; Plemstall; Guilden Sutton; Great Barrow; Manley Mere; Alvanley; and Dunham on the Hill.
