This a grade C ride starting from outside the Red Rooms cafe (Arrowe Park Golf shop) and takes 23.7 miles out to The Boat Museum with a return back to Red Rooms of 15.6 miles, making 39.3 miles in total.
There are a couple of challenging slopes on route, from Asda at Woodchurch up to the top of Prenton is a bit of a slog but nothing to worry about. As ever we are on busy roads with lots of traffic so please take your time, look after yourself and other road users.
The route is available on Komoot Red Rooms to E’port Boat Museum
Lunch will be at the Boat Museum . Should you have any dietary needs then please phone the cafe (0151 355 5017) and make your own individual arrangements.
After Lunch the route returns to Red Rooms via the Mersey coast, coming up through Eastham and central Wirral.
There is a train station in Ellesmere Port 1/2 mile from the Boat Museum that will return you to stations across the Wirral if you don’t want to ride back to Arrowe Park.
