Hooton Station, Ince marshes, Frodsham, Kelsall, Waverton, 45 miles 1,400ft climb
From Hooton we go to Ellesmere Port via the Vauxhall factory, then out across the Ince Marshes (2 ½ miles of chunky gravel with some big potholes, not mud) steady climb up out of Frodsham, up to Newton then undulating roads via Manley Common to Walk Mill café for lunch. (27 Miles)
Back home via Waverton and round the north of Chester by Backford and the gated track by the railway through Capenhurst to Hooton.
