The route goes out towards Hamilton Square, past Birkenhead Priory, through Rock Park with a stop for a ‘banana’ break by the Dell in Port Sunlight.  Then out on along the cycle track to Eastham Ferry, through Eastham Village and Raby to stop for lunch at Thornton Hough.  Thornton Hough Village Hall is open for food on weekdays, or people can bring their own sandwiches and drinks if they prefer.  The return journey will be via Brimstage, Prenton and Noctorum to the Visitor Centre in Birkenhead Park.
