The ride starts from the car park of the Merebrook Hotel besides Bromborough Railway Station on Allport Road and goes to Chester Lakes at Balderton in Cheshire.
The route goes out via the Missing Link, Capenhurst, Saughall to Saltney Bridge with a lunch stop at Chester Lakes after approximately 21 miles. Then back to Bromborough via Saltney Bridge, along the River Dee to Garden City, and back on Woodbank Lane, through Capenhurst and the Missing Link.
