The ride is just over 33 miles long, Grade C, starting from the car park of the Merebrook Hotel besides Bromborough Railway Station on Allport Road.

The route goes out through Eastham and the Missing Link to Capenhurst and Little Stanney, Croughton and Pickton to Mickle Trafford, with a picnic stop at Chester Zoo Nature Trail – so bring sandwiches and drink. If people want a cafe then the group could stop at Meadow Lea instead.
The route back is via Caughall, Backford, Saughall and Ledsham to Bromborough station.
