The route leaves Port Sunlight Station and goes out to Eastham Ferry, North Road and onto Ellesmere Port, up Oil Sites Road then a scenic route around Ince and Elton. Following onto Bridge Trafford, Little Barrow, Great Barrow, Stamford Bridge then a right turn to lunch at Meadow Lea. This is a popular stop for cyclists as most will know and it caters for most tastes. The distance is approximately 25 miles.
The return leg will goes back via Picton and onto Stoak along the A5117 cutting up to Capenhurst and Hooton Station (where people can take the train if so desired) and then back to Port Sunlight past Raby Mere. This return is approximately 18 miles making a total of 43 miles.
