This is a 52 mile total ride, graded C+ because of the distance and number of hills to climb (2000+ ft total ascent). It is mainly on quiet lanes, on tarmac throughout.
The route will be down the railway cycle route to Bromborough; Eastham ; back of Vauxhalls; Ellesmere Port near Boat Museum; A5117 cycle path; Thornton-le -Moors; Dunham -on -the -Hill; Manley; Cob Hall Lane; Norton’s Lane; Great Barrow; Stamford Bridge; Guilden Sutton; Mickle Trafford (lunch). Back via Upton Heath; Chester Zoo area; Backford; Mollington; Saughall; Garden City; Burton Moss; Denhall Lane; Neston; Thornton Hough; Brimstage; Storeton; Higher Bebington and return to Port Sunlight.
It is proposed to have a lunch at Meadow Lea Cafe
The route returns to the start at Port Sunlight.
